A dairy to My Lovely & Pretty Daugther - Eunice

Staying home, taking care of Eunice is an enjoyment... time to see her grow.

I have missed the time of taking her since she was a baby... some guilt towards Eunice, but at least she was well taken care by a caring babysitter...

Preparing her to K2, registered with a PAP (so-called higher level with better environment of PAP) which paid a little higher of fees... And is really a better kind of teaching and guidance in this PAP, which is opposite our block. She was lucky with a seat left.

The school started at 1pm, and I have quite a few hours of my own time to loiter around and utilising my paid slimming package long time ago...

Home before 5pm to pick Eunice and prepare dinner... also managed to send her for piano classes and phonics classes... I think it was the most enjoyable time I had and which I had missed this with Evelyn...

With the new school coming up in our area, therefore did not register Eunice with Xingnan. Besides this reason, I actually did not want to put her in the same school as her... competitive kind of academics is a very stressful thing...

Attended a soft launch of the new school, wow... it is really over-whelming... so many parents. Hearing that the principal will be a gentleman whom used to be a vice principal of river valley high school.  Seeing this crowd, in my heart was thinking that it was only for the launch and afterall there isn't any academic results for this school to be overwhelming for registering for P1.

The registering day came, oh no... surprisingly that the registration has exceeded the given seats. The final seats available was 235 seats and it has more than 300+ registrations... and this is first in life time that a pure new school needs balloting for p1...  no choice as this school is really near to our house, which is just a crossing of a junction and reach.

Balloting day, heart pounds faster and faster... her name was not drawn... waited and waited. Finally and she was lucky enough that her name was drawn at the last 6th or 16th.... perspired... cold sweat...

Time to be in school for P1... an exciting day... no more working, as exciting as her...
She was enjoying herself, a good start... she was chosen for going to school for interview for Student Elf... which is kinda of Prefect (named used at my time). After the interview, there wasn't news... so I enquired from Miss Lee, and to surprise a few weeks down the road, she was asked to be... she was so happy and so am I. She was quite popular among teachers... perhaps of her 人缘. Thank god for giving her this...
Coming to the end of P1, though there wasn't any official exam and only based on term tests and spellings and daily work... she did well. She was among the top 25%. Congrats and well done my little sweetie Eunice. In addition, she was also a nominee for the Edusave Character Awards.

In her P1 journey, I have even joined the school Parents Support Group (PSG)... volunteering to assist around for school outings and activities... Learning Journey to Zoological Garden... Fun and tiring...

Starting of in P2, with her popularity... she was chosen or given chance for many activities that the school is going out with... In her P2, she did well too... she was once again nominated for the Edusave Character Awards... and this year..she was chosen and SHE GOT IT!!! Wonderful.. she was so proud, so do we... Continuing from P1, she got her top 25% again... Well done sweetie... She was promoted to P3 and was in one of the 2 best classes... 3 Respect. She was also given a chance to do higher-chinese... we felt that letting her to try and if she could not make it, is also fine for us to drop it too...

In her P2, I volunteered to help in Learning Journey to Changi Airport... is fun and going to airport with a bunch of kids... is challenging... Besides that, also a LJ to SOTA... not too bad.

Temporary of so much of so much to share...
